Anna University Photocopy and Revaluation

If you think a theory paper was valued wrong, you can get a copy of your answer script and then ask for it to be revalued. Both are applied for online, in a short window after results.

Last checked against coe.annauniv.edu on 7 October 2026.

The two steps

  1. Photocopy first. Apply for a photocopy of your answer script and pay the fee per paper.
  2. Then revaluation. Once you have the copy, check it. If marks are missed or totalled wrong, apply for revaluation of that paper.

You can only apply for revaluation of a paper you got a photocopy of. Each step has its own last date, announced in the COE notice for that exam session.

Where to apply

  • Watch coe.annauniv.edu after results for the notice. It gives the dates and fees for that session.
  • Apply through the student login on the same portal with your register number and date of birth.
  • Students of the university departments (CEG, ACT, MIT, SAP) apply through acoe.annauniv.edu instead.

What to check in your photocopy

  • Every answer you wrote has been marked, including extra sheets and choice questions.
  • The marks on each page add up to the total on the cover.
  • Marks for each part (A, B and C) are carried over correctly.
  • Compare your answers with the question paper, which you can find on this site under your subject.

Good to know

  • The windows are short, often a week. Apply on the first days, as the portal slows down near the deadline.
  • Revalued marks replace the old ones, and the revised result is published on the same portal.
  • Keep writing your next semester's exams as planned while you wait.
