Anna University CGPA to Percentage

The formula
Regulation 2021, clause 15.5.3: “In the consolidated grade sheet the CGPA earned shall be converted into percentage of marks as follows: Percentage of Marks = CGPA × 10.” So 7.85 CGPA is 78.5%, and 9.1 is 91%.
Class of degree
- First Class with Distinction: CGPA 8.50 or more, every course passed at the first attempt, within five years (four for lateral entry).
- First Class: CGPA 6.50 or more, all courses passed within five years.
- Second Class: everyone else who completes the degree.
