CS 3251 — PROGRAMMING IN C

PART A — (10 × 2 = 20 marks)

    Write any two applications of C language.

    Differentiate while and Do-While Loop statements.

    If String 1="C Programming" and String 2="Language"; Write the built-in functions to (a) Find the length of the String 1 ; (b) Compare two strings. Whether they are equal.

    What will happen if in a C program you assign a value to an array element whose subscript exceeds the size of array?

    A record contains information regarding In-Patient System such as pname, Address, PID and Admission_Date. Create a structure to hold the records of In-Patients. Write a C program :

    • (ii)To print all In-Patient details according to the Admission_Date.(8)
